What information do I collect and where is it stored?

I collect the information that is needed to complete the work required. This will include, but is not limited to, your full name, business name, postal address, email address, telephone number and website. Information about website usage is collected via Cookies. Information is stored within Microsoft Outlook and Onedrive.

Why do I need it?

If you're a copywriting client of Lemon Drop I need this information to be able to carry out the copywriting work you're commissioning.

What do I do with it?

I will only use your information to provide the copywriting services that you have requested. Your data will never be sold to a third party.

In the following circumstances I may need to share the data that I hold:

  • to service providers and affiliates (e.g postal services, IT service administrators) who assist in the delivery of my products and services

  • to third parties if I believe that disclosure is advisable or necessary to comply with the law, to enforce or apply my terms and conditions, or to protect the rights, property or safety of myself and others. 

How long do I keep it?

UK tax law requires that I keep your basic personal data, i.e. name and contact details, for a minimum period of 6 years. After this your data will be kept until you notify me otherwise. If however you would like your data destroyed after this point please contact me.
